A recent Penn State graduate with a degree in broadcast journalism and minor in political science. As a broadcast journalism student, I was able to learn skills such as video, photo, and audio editing on programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Audience, Premiere, and Heisenberg. My time studying these editing tools were refined by projects specializing in radio, broadcast, and print reporting while following the ethical codes of journalism. 

 

In the summer after my sophomore year, I was fortunate enough to obtain an internship with Gloss Public Relations, a boutique PR firm in Philadelphia whose clients include Rittenhouse Row and Jose Garces. In my time with Gloss PR I learned to assist in strategic public relations and social media plans, review and edit bylines and blog posts, help with various marketing and creative projects and develop and maintain social media for hundreds of clients. Gloss was gracious enough to allow me to intern with them again in the summer of 2017. My experience with Gloss gave me the opportunity to take full creative control of the Incline Running's social media. 

 

In addition to my time with Gloss, I have seven years of experience in hospitality. I have previously worked in a boutique Inn and multiple restaurants since I was 16. My time in hospitality has taught me countless interpersonal skills and how to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
